Rover Scouting Update - January>March

We have some very important items to go over for the Aspen Mountain Rover Crew!

In January we had our annual planning Round Table. We planned out our monthly activities, including who would head each activity. We made the important decision to implement Joining Fees for the Crew, which are expounded upon in the Aspen Mountain Rover Crew application, which is separate from the general R4LA application. This way we could streamline the awarding process to make it faster and easier to award Rover Scouts for their accomplishments.

In February we had a great muster where we learned more about wood working machines and created hard wood bird houses. Rover Mate Lance was awarded the Practical Training Strip at this muster, which is a completion of his basic Rover Scout training and an exciting step forward in the program. In March we scouted out grave stones in Mount Pleasant to add to the Billiongraves database. Working with our hands and getting in the outdoors is what makes Rover Scouting so great!

Website Updates

For a few weeks we had some of the pages down so we could update the information according to the new Bylaws put into place concerning the joining fee. Everything has been updated.
